Southern Play Time 2010
- Our second session of camp is in full swing and we are absolutely tickled to see so many fresh faces! On their first day, our campers learned about stage presence with Mikko, the drama coach, and made a giant robot chef with Gina Phillips, the resident artist. Tuesday, after vocal warm-ups, they started crafting the final play. We won’t give anything away, but get ready for some jambalaya, crawfish pie and filet gumbo as the kids explore the rich culinary heritage of New Orleans. Our campers have been working hard with Gina to make their cooking utensils and other props and are so excited to show them off. The performance is guaranteed to be hilarious, so come one, come all: Friday, July 2, at 11 a.m. in the Patrick F. Taylor library (enter through the museum).
Session One Performance Video
